The secondary battery test center in Ochang-eup, Cheongju-si, Chungcheongbuk-do, caught fire at 9:20 p.m. yesterday (7th) and was extinguished in about 30 minutes.
There are no casualties, but six battery charging and discharging experimental machines caused property damage estimated by the fire department of about 100 million won.
Police and fire authorities will conduct a joint inspection to determine the exact cause of the fire.
