Lee Jae-myung, chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea, emphasized that he did not withdraw his judgment on the act of rebellion, and that the original court was to clear up the issue, citing the fact that the crime of rebellion was excluded from the reason for the impeachment of President Yoon.

Lee made the remarks at the Supreme Council, comparing the martial law and the impeachment trial process of the Constitutional Court to a divorce lawsuit against a person who set his house on fire and wielded a weapon against his family.

He then explained that he accidentally wrote "I committed assault" in the divorce complaint, and when the judge asked if the crime was a reason for divorce or whether the beating was a reason for divorce, he said, "I just assaulted you, I can't live with you."

Representative Lee said, "Since it is up to the criminal court to determine whether it is a crime of rebellion, isn't it a constitutional trial to quickly determine whether the act of rebellion violated the constitution?" and asked, "Isn't it possible to use the word "crime" by mistake?"
