The People's Power criticized the Democratic Party for using the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit and the National Capital as political weapons while thoroughly ignoring the Constitution, laws and the rule of law, effectively promoting a psychological civil war.

Senior spokesman Shin Dong-wook made the comment, saying that Democratic Party lawmakers are verbally abusive toward the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit, such as encouraging violence or calling for a "death sentence," saying, "Arrest even if you are shot."

In addition, the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit lost public trust by being stigmatized as the Democratic Party Investigation Office and the Terror Investigation Office, and the National Defense Agency argued that it uses public power as a tool to divide the people through internal communication with the Democratic Party.
