The Democratic Party of Korea criticized whether the presidential security office dreamed of becoming a rebel, saying that it built a "calm fortress" by hitting a three-fold barbed wire fence and a car wall in the official residence to prevent the execution of an arrest warrant for President Yoon Suk Yeol.

Spokesperson Hwang Jung-ah said in a National Assembly briefing, "We sternly warn the people that it is treason to confront the people and the constitutional order to protect the rebellion mob that pointed their guns at them."

The Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit and the police then argued that if the security service interferes with the execution of the arrest warrant, it should be immediately arrested as a current offender without any tolerance or leniency.
