The National Assembly Steering Committee has decided to file a complaint against 22 people, including Presidential Chief of Staff Chung Jin-suk and National Security Office chief Shin Won-sik, who did not attend the questioning on the pending issue of the emergency martial law.

The steering committee was scheduled to hold a general meeting to ask questions about pending issues to the presidential office and the security office, but all officials from the presidential office, including Chung, who was adopted as a witness, were absent.

Opposition members believed that they did not comply with the request for witnesses to appear without reason, and passed a bill to file a complaint against 22 people, including Director Chung, in accordance with the National Audit and Investigation Act.

On the 17th, the steering committee also decided to conduct a questionnaire only for the presidential security and adopted 12 people, including Park Jong-joon and Kim Sung-hoon, as witnesses.
