In the waiting room of Muan International Airport, the waiting area for the bereaved families of the Jeju Air plane disaster, the Yamche people who take various relief supplies appeared.
On the 8th, the 11th day of the disaster, many booths are operating in the waiting rooms on the 1st and 2nd floors of the Muan Airport building to distribute various items such as food and hygiene products for free.
Although the size has been reduced as the bereaved families of the victims of the disaster have left the waiting room for their funeral, each booth is staying to help support staff staying at the airport and those who will return in the future.
Booth management organizations provide various items unconditionally so that there are no inconveniences for bereaved families and support personnel.
There have also been cases of exploiting this to take care of goods.
Mourners from the metropolitan area to Muan Airport were seen sweeping away daily necessities such as cup noodles, drinks, wipes, toilet paper, toiletries, health mask socks, underwear and towels after visiting the joint memorial altar.
One volunteer said, "We haven't got the exact situation yet, but this is the most worrisome thing when we ran an aid booth."
He added, "Resident groups will gather to discuss countermeasures so that relief does not fall into the hands of the wrong people."
