The Constitutional Court, which is hearing the case of the impeachment trial of the Board of Audit and Inspection, Choi Hae-jae, has asked the National Assembly to inform the National Assembly of the abuse of authority among the reasons for the prosecution.

The Constitutional Court held the second hearing of Choi's impeachment trial this afternoon (8th) and confirmed the positions of both sides by issue.

In the process, Judge Kim Hyung-doo asked the National Assembly to specify the reason in the first preparation period regarding the abuse of authority, but it seems difficult to say that it has become clear yet.

He also added that the actions, dates, and methods should be specified to make the other party do something without obligation or to specify what rights they interfered with.

Earlier, the Constitutional Court summarized the reasons for the National Assembly's impeachment as denying the independent status of the Board of Audit and Inspection, targeting the chairman of the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, violating the duties of the head of the Board of Audit and Inspection, and refusing to submit data to the National Assembly.

The National Assembly claims that Choi forcibly forced the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission officials to submit data during the audit process.

The Constitutional Court has designated another hearing preparation date on the 22nd, and if an additional date is designated, it is highly likely to be held at 2 p.m. on the 12th of next month.
