President Yoon Suk Yeol once again denied the charges of rebellion, introducing the background of the martial law declaration to be submitted to the Constitutional Court.

However, the indictment of the suspects accused of rebellion, including former Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun, contained the opposite situation.

Lawyers for President Yoon Suk Yeol deny the charge of rebellion, saying that the martial law army deployed to the National Assembly on the day of martial law is small in size and time.

[Yoon Gap-geun / Defense attorney for President Yoon Suk Yeol: The National Assembly has only 280 troops, is unarmed, and soldiers have stayed in the National Assembly for an hour to an hour and a half....]

However, according to the prosecution's special investigation headquarters' indictment, a total of 2,440 public authorities, including 600 special forces and 1,700 police officers, were put into the National Assembly alone.

At that time, the martial law army was just blocked by chairs and fixtures piled up by lawmakers in the plenary session hall, not that it didn't go in.

According to the prosecution's indictment and official testimony, it is confirmed that President Yoon himself ordered the parliamentary quorum not to be met.

[Kwak Jong-geun / Army Special Warfare Commander (Dec. 10 last year): (The president himself) Crush the door and pull out the personnel inside....]

However, President Yoon's side denies even public testimony from these officials, saying they have "no credibility."

He also repeatedly insisted that it was not a riot, saying that no one had seen live ammunition at the time of martial law.
According to the
prosecution investigation, more than 2,000 live bullets were loaded on helicopters and buses bound for the National Assembly, and more than 50,000 live bullets were prepared for additional supply.

Above all, former Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun repeatedly confirmed at 2:13 a.m. on December 4 last year, an hour after the martial law lifting request was approved.

This, too, contradicts President Yoon's claim that he followed the National Assembly's demand for martial law to be lifted.
