Amid the high possibility of executing an arrest warrant for President Yoon Suk Yeol, police are asking senior security officials, including Chief of Security Park Jong-joon, to appear one after another.

Police are expected to consider applying for an arrest warrant if they fail to comply with the third request for attendance.

Following Park Jong-joon, the head of the bodyguard, who twice refused the police special investigation team's request to appear, Kim Sung-hoon, the deputy head of the bodyguard, also did not respond to the police's second summons.

Lee Kwang-woo, the head of the security headquarters, and Lee Jin-ha, the head of the security and safety headquarters, also refused to comply with the police summons.

All four high-ranking security officials charged with obstructing the execution of an arrest warrant for President Yoon Suk Yeol are refusing to attend the police.The third request for attendance has been sent to Director

Park and Deputy Director Kim.

In the case of Director Park, 10 a.m. on the 10th, which was suggested as the deadline for attendance, is expected to be a watershed.

In general cases, the police are likely to apply for an arrest warrant if Minister Park refuses to comply with the third request for attendance.

Earlier, the Joint Investigation Headquarters requested and issued an arrest warrant after asking President Yoon to appear three times and was denied all of them.

At this rate, there is a possibility that arrest warrants will be filed one after another against senior security officials, including Chief Park and Deputy Chief Kim.

The police are also considering arresting employees of the security service who interfere with the execution of the second warrant as active offenders of obstruction of justice,

In the meantime, not only the security officials, but also the Army's 55th Guard Commander and the 33rd Military Police Guard Commander were accused by the prosecution of obstructing the execution of the arrest warrant and were investigated.
