The Supreme Court's sentence of JMS President Chung Myung-seok, who is accused of brainwashing and sexually assaulting Goddess Island using his religious status, will take place today (9th).

From 10:10 a.m. today, the Supreme Court will proceed with the date of the appeal of Jeong, who is charged with quasi-rape and other charges.

Jeong is accused of sexually assaulting two foreign goddesses 23 times and molesting a Korean goddess at the JMS Training Center in Geumsan-gun, Chungcheongnam-do for about three years from 2018.

Earlier, the first trial court sentenced Jeong to 23 years in prison for committing the crime based on absolute power, but the appeals court sentenced him to 17 years in prison, six years less, citing his ability to testify.

Jeong is also on trial for committing sexual violence against two and eight other goddesses 19 and 28 times, respectively.
