The government and the ruling party have decided to provide up to 40% discounts on KTX and SRT reverse return trains during the Lunar New Year holiday.

The ruling party and the government said they made the decision at a meeting at the National Assembly to stabilize prices and boost consumption of Lunar New Year's holy water products to revitalize local tourism and support comfortable homecoming and returning home during the holiday season from the 27th to the 31st.

It also added that it will provide 400,000 won in domestic travel expenses to 150,000 small and medium-sized workers and promote free opening events at various historic sites.

The government and the ruling party explained that they will expand the supply of 16 major Lunar New Year holy goods, including cabbage, radish, apple, and pear, 1.6 times more than usual, and provide 5 billion won in holy goods purchases to merchants in traditional markets.

In addition, the discount rate for digital Onnuri gift certificates will be raised to 15%, and at the same time, a gift certificate refund of 15% of the payment will be held.
