Heavy snow warning in Buan amid heavy snow on the west coast...20cm more snow today.

Amid heavy snow around the west coast, a heavy snow warning was issued in Buan, North Jeolla Province, from 8:40 a.m. today (9th), and a heavy snow warning is in effect on the west coast of Chungnam, Honam, and Jeju mountains.

The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) said cloud bands developed in the West Sea continue to flow through the northwest wind, adding that 20cm more snow is expected to fall on the West Coast by today.

In particular, some areas will see strong and heavy snow concentration of 3 to 5 cm per hour, so caution is needed.

Snow on the west coast for three days is expected to stop tomorrow morning from the west coast of Chungnam, and Honam is expected to stop tomorrow night.
