The Yomiuri Shimbun reported that they were also ordered to instigate anti-Japanese in South Korea in connection with the prison sentence of former KCTU officials and others for spying under orders from North Korea.

Yomiuri said that after analyzing the first trial ruling of the Suwon District Court, it was confirmed that many of the orders sent by the Cultural Exchange Bureau, a North Korean task force, to organizations involving former Korean Confederation of Trade Unions officials should create anti-Japanese energy.

Yomiuri explained that North Korea's order had instructions such as that it was effective to create and actively implement tactical measures to intensify confrontation between South Korea and Japan.

Earlier in November last year, the Suwon District Court sentenced three former executives of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions, including Seok, the former head of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions, to five to 15 years in prison for spying.
