One Uijeongbu light rail stopped operating at Hyoja Station at around 8:50 a.m. today (9th) and another at Dongoh Station at 9:10 a.m., causing inconvenience to citizens.

The passengers got off at each station and no one was injured, and the light rail connected the follow-up train to each breakdown train and moved it to the garage in about 10 minutes.

In the process, nine other trains running in the same direction slowed down, but all trains started operating normally from around 9:30 a.m.

The light rail believes that the power-related devices have been cut off from electricity, and it is also trying to determine the cause of the failure with a sudden cold wave in mind.
