"Melo's box office queen" Lee Se-young will present her first love romance with Nine Woo.

Today (9th) afternoon, a production presentation for the new drama "Motel California" was held at MBC's Golden Mouse Hall in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. Actors Lee Se-young, Nine Woo, Choi Min-soo, Kim Tae-hyung, Choi Hee-jin and Kim Hyung-min attended the scene.

'Motel California' depicts what Ji Kang-hee (Lee Se-young), who was born and raised in a motel in the countryside, experiences when she reunites with her first love, natural water (Ninewoo), in her hometown where she fled 12 years ago. It is based on the web novel "Home, Bitter Home" by Shim Yoon-seo.

On this day, Lee Se-young said, "I thought Kang-hee had a similar side to me after reading a web novel. I was curious about how Kang-hee, who was traumatized when she was young, would grow up, and I found another me through this work," he said.

Choi Min-soo praised the atmosphere on the set was so good. He said, "The actors just came out in their own way. He said, "I'm so comfortable that I don't have to do rehearsals on the spot."

Nine-woo said, "I'm sorry to tell my colleagues about the controversy over military exemption."

He said, "When the controversy came out, I couldn't make a position right away because I was filming. As it is clearly a sensitive issue, I had to make a quick decision, but it is right that I chose to remain silent."

"Because viewers like my bright and energetic appearance, I've shown a lot of over-the-top performances so far. Personal reasons and disease names are difficult to tell. But I was honest because I wanted you to look at me as I am," he said.

Lee Se-young will appear again on MBC following "Red End of Clothes Sleeves." He said, "I think there's a lot of love with MBC. The most frequently appeared work when I was young was MBC, and the restaurant's food was the best, he said. "So I felt like the closest broadcasting station."

Lee Se-young, who has made a big difference externally by taking on a mixed-race character, said, "It's hair, eye color, blush, freckles and so on. "I can't change my face differently, so I dyed my hair and wore color lenses so that I could look different," he said.

In response, Choi Min-soo added, "Se-young's mother is not pure Korean."

Choi Min-soo plays Ji Chun-pil, the owner of Motel California and Ji Kang-hee's father.

Choi Min-soo, who revealed that the remaining filming is about three weeks, said, "It's a pity that the end is visible. Thank you for giving me these memories," he said, conveying the friendly atmosphere of the filming site.

Lee Se-young and Nine-woo, who will work together as first love partners, praised each other.

Lee Se-young said, "In-woo is a really delicate actor," adding, "At some times, he is much more delicate than me, so he is comfortable, and especially when acting melodrama, I thought his eyes were really pretty, as the director said. In the original work, the expression "calf-like eyes" comes out, and it's really like watching Yeonsu, and it's so good that Inwoo is Yeonsu. "The process of breathing together was happy and comfortable," he said.

Nine-woo also said, "I'm so moved because I'm not used to compliments. In my case, I'm the type to give back as much as I get, but Se-young really gave me a lot. So I was able to interpret and make the character more delicately," he said.

"Motel California" premieres tomorrow (10th) at 9:50 p.m.
