The Incheon Fire Department received six reports of related damage as of 5 p.m. today (9th).
At around 7:30 a.m., the sidewalk in Ganseok-dong froze, and at around 11:50 a.m., large icicles formed in the buildings in Cheongcheon-dong and Yeonhui-dong, and firefighters were dispatched.
In addition, fire authorities took safety measures in Okryeon-dong, Gyesan-dong, and Gajwa-dong as strong winds feared falling structures such as building signs.
At around 8:10 p.m. last evening (8th), a man in his 80s showed symptoms of hypothermia and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
