Civic groups such as candlelight vigils launched an indefinite sit-in in front of the official residence from around 9 a.m. today (9th), and regular rallies were held around 3 p.m.
They demanded that President Yoon, the leader of the rebellion, execute a second arrest warrant.
Conservative groups, including the New Freedom Alliance against impeachment, held a rally near the Han River Jin Station in the morning and shouted that both the impeachment and arrest warrants of President Yoon were invalid.
The participants also said they would fight with President Yoon and insisted on protecting him.
