136 aircraft and 77 passenger ships were canceled today (9th) due to heavy snowfall centered on the Chungnam and Jeolla regions.

According to the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters' report on the heavy snowfall as of 6 p.m. today, 136 flights were not available at 68 Jeju airports, 31 Gimpo airports, and 15 Gwangju airports.

Seventy-seven ferries, including Incheon to Baengnyeong and Yeosu to Geomun, have stopped operating.

Thirteen local roads, including Chungnam, Jeonnam, and Gyeongnam, were closed, and the Gyeongbu Express Line is running at less than 230km/h on the railroad.

197 trails in eight national parks, including Mudeungsan Mountain and Jirisan Mountain, were closed.

The fire department said it carried out 44 fire-fighting activities, including 23 safety measures and 21 first aid cases for falls, but there were no counted casualties.
