Right in front of Hollywood, "Hwa-Ma"...25 times the ashes of Yeouido

A wildfire sweeping Los Angeles, the U.S., has approached Hollywood, the center of the movie industry, and an evacuation order has been issued.

So far, five people have died and burned 25 times the area of Yeouido, but the damage continues to increase due to strong winds called "Devil Wind."

A firestorm hit only a few hundred meters ahead.

Evacuation orders were issued for real situations, not movies, and various events such as the Critics' Choice Awards were canceled one after another.

The fire also burned down the homes of countless Hollywood stars, including Mr. Leighton and Adam Brody.

As the fire spreads out of control in Santa Ana, which is called the Devil's Wind, human and property damage is increasing.

The fire, which started in Pacific Pelissades, a rich coastal town, spread to Eton, Hurst, and Hollywood Hills, burning dozens of times the size of Yeouido.

The fire authorities are making all-out efforts, but the extinguishing rate is virtually zero because they cannot be used to strong winds.

Amid criticism that the L.A. mayor cut the fire budget to increase damage, President-elect Donald Trump blamed California Gov. Gavin Newsom, a Democrat, for poor water management.

President Joe Biden, who also canceled his trip to Italy, declared California a large-scale disaster zone and ordered federal recovery aid.
