Kim Dong-joon Finds a Bird's Nest...Termination of exclusive contract with Major 9

Singer-actor Kim Dong-joon and Major Nine's exclusive contract has ended.

Major 9 announced today (10th) that "the exclusive contract with artist Kim Dong-joon, who was with us, has ended as of December 31st last year."

"I sincerely thank Kim Dong-joon, who has been active in various fields with constant passion as an artist belonging to Major Nine, and I sincerely support Kim Dong-joon's future moves," he said. Since his debut as the children of the empire in 2010, Kim Dong-joon has built a solid filmography as an actor by appearing in works such as "The Neighborhood Lawyer Cho Deul-ho," "The Light Land Eun-soo," "Black," "Aide" seasons 1 and 2, "The Number of Cases," "The Office Worker," and "Simple Station."

In particular, Kim Dong-joon played the role of Hyeonjong, a monarch who contributed greatly to laying the foundation for the Goryeo Dynasty in KBS 2TV's epic historical drama "The Goryeo Kitan War," which ended in March last year. Through this, he won two awards at the 2023 KBS Acting Awards, including the Best Male Award and Best Couple Award, won the Best Male Excellence Award at the Daejeon OTT Awards held in September last year, and the Best Feature Drama Award at the recently held "2024 SEOULCON APAN STAR AWARDS (2024 Seoul Con A-PAN Star Awards).
