Amid attention on when the second arrest warrant for President Yoon Suk Yeol will be executed, rallies for impeachment continue near the presidential residence despite the cold weather.

There's a reporter on the scene, reporter Yoon Tae-in!

The strongest cold wave hit this winter, so how is the situation at the rally in front of the official residence?

[Reporter]
Yes, the weather is so cold that white breath comes out and my whole body shrinks, but the pro-impeachment rallies continue.

Our reporters came out from dawn and looked in front of our official residence.

There were not many people staying last night due to the fierce autumn, but the crowd increased as the day dawned.

In sub-zero weather, participants are wearing thick coats and silver foil blankets to keep up with the cold.

On the road about 200 meters behind me, there is a rally stage for supporters of President Yoon against impeachment.

They claim to prevent the arrest of President Yoon, chanting slogans such as "nulling impeachment" and "tackling fraudulent elections."

On the contrary, some distance away, pro-impeachment groups are raising their voices to call for the early execution of arrest warrants ahead of a full-fledged rally at 3 p.m.

As the confrontation between the participants on both sides continues for a day, there is also a concern about physical conflict between them.

What is the state of the border of the official residence today?

[Reporter]
On the 3rd, when the first warrant was executed, access to the residence itself was controlled.

Even now, police shields are installed everywhere, but there are no major problems with traffic, such as police securing civil passageways.

However, the security posture of the official residence remains tight.

The iron door of the entrance to the official residence is firmly closed except when vehicles enter and exit, and behind the iron door, several large buses form a car wall, blocking the view.

Since the first attempt to execute the warrant, the security service has set up circular barbed wire fences throughout the precinct, and some doors are even chained to prepare for the re-execution of arrest warrants.

It is difficult to check the situation of the second and third cordon further inside from here, but the security agency is expected to have strengthened its guard more than before.

So far, I'm YTN Yoon Tae-in in front of the presidential residence in Hannam-dong, Seoul.
