Gyeonggi-do Provincial Government Has 31 Cold Diseases in the Strongest Cold Wave

It has been found that the number of cold patients in Gyeonggi-do has exceeded 30 this winter.

According to Gyeonggi-do Province, a total of 31 cold patients occurred in the province from the 1st of last month to yesterday (9th), with 23 hypothermia and 8 frostbite by symptom.

Yesterday in Suwon, a resident in his 90s who complained of hypothermia near his home was taken to the emergency room of a nearby hospital by 119 paramedics for treatment.

There were no official cold wave-related deaths in the province.

In four cities and counties, including Yongin, Gimpo, Pocheon, and Yangpyeong, five accidents involving freezing water facilities were reported, but all of them were restored.

In Suwon, one accident occurred in a water pipe freeze, and the restoration was completed.
