Chairman and CEO James Kim met with Woo and said he believes in the country's resilience, saying that although there is uncertainty in the current political situation, we are actively working to emphasize the country's potential by separating business from politics.
In response, Chairman Woo said that the National Assembly, the people, and the business community will work together to overcome martial law and impeachment, and asked the U.S. and the international community to publicize Korea's stability.
After meeting with Chairman Woo, the delegation also met with the leadership of the People's Power Party.
At the meeting, Chairman Kim stressed the importance of the South Korean government to clearly show its efforts to ease regulations and revitalize the economy,
Floor leader Kwon Seong-dong called on South Korea to play a role in strengthening bilateral cooperation in areas such as shipbuilding, shipping and energy, which are highly competitive.
