The election of the president of the Korea Football Association is entering a mud fight.

Following the court's suspension on the eve of the election, the election, which was postponed to the 23rd, was canceled as the election management committee members resigned altogether today.

In the midst of the strongest cold wave that froze his mouth, candidate Shin Moon-sun asked in front of the soccer center why he would hold an election on the 23rd.

He criticized the court for its procedural flaws and unfairness, saying that the only criterion for the election management committee's decision is to save Chung Mong-gyu.

Candidate Huh Jung-moo also said he did not believe in the current steering committee and demanded a third party, the Central Election Commission, to entrust it.

Two opposition candidates even mentioned legal action and held out strongly that they could not do it in this state.

And about four hours later, the KFA Election Commission finally announced its resignation after much thought.

The steering committee said it was a "deep regret" due to only malicious slander and explained that it was impossible to fulfill its responsibilities normally.

The election management committee was simply "publicly decomposed," and the Korea Football Association announced shortly after that the election was canceled on the 23rd, and that it would announce the presidential election next week, including the reorganization of the steering committee.

Considering the composition of the steering committee, the draw and confirmation of the electors, and the period of the official campaign, no matter how fast you speed up, it will take more than 20 days.As the term of the

'Jeong Mong-gyu Executive' ends on the 21st, an administrative vacuum is inevitable.

Earlier, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism demanded severe disciplinary action against Chairman Chung Mong-gyu beyond suspension until the 2nd of next month, but as the election was delayed, the possibility of Chung's right to run for election could not be ruled out.
