Starmer and Macron are said to have focused their discussions on Ukraine during dinner talks at the prime minister's villa in Ailesbury, England, on the 9th local time.
The meeting comes as U.S. President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration, which seeks to end the war early, is 10 days away and Russian forces continue to advance in eastern Ukraine.
The British prime minister's office said the two leaders reaffirmed their unwavering support for Ukraine and agreed to support it in the strongest possible position.
France's Elysee Palace also explained that the leaders of the two countries reaffirmed their commitment to working closely to support Ukraine and stressed the importance of providing security guarantees to the country.
