Dreamers who will lead not only domestic but also Asian soccer are gathering together to compete in the cold weather.

A stove league with various programs is being held in Jeju for winter training.

KCTV Jeju Broadcasting Kim Junghoon Lee reports.

It's sub-zero weather with snow, but there's a lot of competition among young players on the field.

The game continues without any concessions, and the shot that did not miss the difficult scoring chance shakes the opponent's net as it is.

The promising players who will lead Asian soccer in the future are here.

The youth soccer stove league organized by Jeju Island, Nexon, and Jeju SK FC, a professional soccer club, has opened.

Nine youth teams under the K League, including Jeju SK FC, Ulsan, Pohang Steelers, and Suwon FC, and three overseas teams, Vietnam, China, and Thailand, participated.

[Kim Min-gun / Jeju SK FC Youth Team] I think it will be a better fun game because the guys' physical skills have improved a lot compared to last year.]

It is the second competition to be held after last year, but the expectations of the participating players are high.

For a week, games between Asia's top youth teams will continue, followed by one-point lessons from players from the national team.

[Jung Doo-hyun / Suwon FC Youth Team: Thank you so much for being able to play like this in Jeju Island with so many teams and friends from other countries..]

In particular, various programs that teenagers can enjoy together beyond language and borders, such as online soccer games, are also operated.

[Koo Chang-yong / Jeju SK FC CEO: Unfortunately, there have been many (participating) offers from overseas teams. Last year, four teams came and had a good experience, so there was a lot of explosive reaction, but unfortunately, a few teams couldn't come because of Jungkook, but there was a team that wanted to come.]

The competition, in which a large number of promising players who will carry future soccer participate to compete for skills and build friendships, is helping Jeju become a place for international exchange through sports and culture.
