The Biden administration rushed to provide aid to Ukraine before the launch of the second Trump administration, but failed to use the related budget worth $4 billion and 5.89 trillion won in our money.

U.S. Defense Department deputy spokesman Sabrina Singh said at a briefing that the PDA, or less than $4 billion in the president's use authority budget, that has yet to be used, will go to the second Trump administration.

PDA refers to the delivery of extra weapons held by the United States to Ukraine without congressional approval.

During his summit with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in September last year, Biden ordered $5.5 billion to be allocated through PDAs to supply equipment to Ukraine and expand inventory for U.S. troops.

The Biden administration has been working to expedite the budget already secured after President-elect Donald Trump, who opposes additional aid to Ukraine, won the November 5 presidential election.
