At the meeting, Professor Rick Rasmussen and officials from corporate investment companies explained Silicon Valley's success stories and said an ecosystem should be built that allows start-ups founded by smart talent to develop new technologies with the support of investment companies.
He went on to emphasize that Korea is an interesting investment destination with many great engineers at a time when U.S.-China relations are not good.
In response, South Chungcheong Province Governor Kim Tae-heum said he would do his best to produce good results and asked him to be a comrade who helps develop Asan Bay.
