Ahn Se-young advances to Malaysia Open final

Badminton World No. 1 Ahn Se-young has reached the final of the Malaysian Open, her first international competition of the year.

Ahn beat Thailand's Intanon 2-0 in the semi-finals of the tournament and is close to winning for the second year in a row.

Ahn will play the final against China's Wang Zhiyi, the world's second-ranked player, this afternoon.

Ahn is 8-4 against Wang Zhi, but lost in the Danish Open final in October last year and the World Tour Final semifinals in December.
