Politicians are also evaluating and demanding the investigation into Yoon Suk Yeol's presidential rebellion.

There are also concerns that it could undermine the independence of the investigation.

Reporter Chung Hyun-woo's report.

[Reporter]
Director Oh Dong-woon of the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit, who leads the investigation into the rebellion, has become a regular guest of the National Assembly since the start of the Yoon Suk Yeol presidential investigation.

I attended all six pending questions at the National Assembly after the emergency martial law incident.

Oh also attended the plenary session of the National Assembly on the 9th, when he was considering the timing of the second arrest warrant, and both the ruling and opposition parties put pressure on Oh.

[Lee Chul-kyu / National People's Power (last 9th): It will be difficult to win sympathy from all the people to say that they will execute a warrant while causing a conflict as if they are publicizing..]

[Park Joo-min / Rep. of the Democratic Party (last 9th): If a warrant is executed, lawmakers go to the majority to scramble and block it. Is it obstruction of justice? Is it possible for a member of the National Assembly to be arrested as a red-handed offender?]

Lawmakers from the ruling and opposition parties are also visiting the National Police Agency's National Investigation Headquarters.

Lawmakers of the People's Power met with Woo Jong-soo, head of the National Bureau, and pointed out the police's support for the execution of the first warrant.

[Jo Eun-hee / People's Power (last 6th): I strongly protest to avoid excessive cooperation, political bias, and investigative attitude that can be misunderstood....]

Rep. Lee Chul-kyu was known to have told Director Woo to "think about the future."

Democratic lawmakers from the National Assembly's Public Administration and Security Committee also visited the National Assembly and urged them to quickly execute the second arrest warrant.

[Shin Jeong-hoon / Rep. of the Democratic Party (last 6th): We visited the National Investigation Headquarters to deliver the request that the National Investigation Agency actively participate in the execution.]

Rep. Lee Sang-sik, a former police officer, posted on social media, "The phone is on fire because it serves as a messenger between the party and the National Assembly," sparking controversy between the Democratic Party and the police.

There are concerns that the investigative agency may be swept away by political disputes and infringed on its independence.
