Safety accidents, large and small, continue to occur at ski resorts in winter.

Skiing and snowboarding are sports that run through the snow at a high speed, so there is a high risk of accidents, but safety insensitivity remains.

The skier, who was going down the steep slope quickly, falls over while bumping into the snowboarder.

Fortunately, no one was hurt, but it could have led to a major injury.

On the 3rd, a 20-something skiing at Jeongseon Ski Resort in Gangwon-do was killed in a crash.

Over the past five years, 1,234 ski resort safety accidents have been reported to the Korea Consumer Agency.

Nine out of 10 cases were accidents of slipping or falling, followed by collisions and equipment defects.

When looking at the injured area, skiing had the lower body and snowboarding had the most upper body.

The speed of a ski or snowboard exceeds 50 km/h. At this high speed, a moment's negligence can lead to a fatal accident.

However, there are still many users who do not even wear basic safety equipment such as helmets and knee pads.

[Skier: (Helmet)] It's expensive and cumbersome, so I think it's most convenient not to use it.]

Stopping in the middle of the slope or suddenly changing directions is also dangerous behavior that can lead to accidents.

Beginners should take lessons from certified instructors and use slopes that fit their skills.

Also, skiing or snowboarding while drinking should never be done as it increases the risk of accidents.
