Constitutional Court to hold formal hearing on President Yoon's impeachment trial this week

Starting this week, the Constitutional Court will make a formal argument in the impeachment case of President Yoon Suk Yeol.

The Constitutional Court will hold the first formal hearing of the impeachment trial of President Yoon at 2 p.m. on the 14th.

Starting on this day, five trials will be held on the 16th, 21st, 23rd, and 4th of next month, except for the Lunar New Year holiday, and arguments will be held twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday.

The Constitutional Court is expected to designate an additional date after organizing trial plans, including a list of witnesses, to ensure the number of hearings.While President

Yoon's side has formed a delegation of eight representatives to prepare in earnest, it is not yet known whether President Yoon will attend the first hearing.

Earlier, the Constitutional Court also said that there was no opinion from President Yoon on whether he would attend the first formal hearing date.
