Entrance of college admissions in the Seoul metropolitan area intensifies..."Upgrade support to increase medical personnel"

As a result of regular college admissions for the 2025 academic year, the concentration in the metropolitan area has become more severe than last year.

According to a survey of 202 universities nationwide by Jongno Academy, 41 universities in Seoul had 194,000 applications, up 2.7% from last year.

Forty-two universities in the Gyeongin area also saw a 1% increase to 107,000, but 119 universities in the province saw a 1.7% decrease to a total of 203,000.

The academy analyzed that the expansion of medical school recruitment capacity has raised expectations for acceptance at the top universities, resulting in support for the metropolitan area and a series of upward support.
