The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and the Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Quarantine Headquarters will launch a special crackdown on the country of origin ahead of the Lunar New Year.

The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries will conduct a special inspection on the country of origin of fisheries products until the 27th to check the country of origin for wild sea bream, bow defense, bow-am cut crab, and Jeju fisheries products that may be violated.

The Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Quarantine Headquarters will also manage the history of imported beef and pork during the same period.

The crackdown will be conducted on butchers, restaurants, and online malls across the country handling imported livestock products.
