Wildfires in the hills near the Donghae Expressway in Yangyang...Get out of here in about an hour.

At around 12:40 p.m. today, a fire broke out in a hill near Yangyang Tunnel 1 on the Donghae Expressway in Yangyang-gun, Gangwon-do.

Forest authorities deployed two helicopters and about 50 personnel to extinguish the fire in about an hour.

Forest authorities are investigating the cause of the forest fire and the extent of the damage, along with clearing the remaining fires.
