Mayor Oh posted on Facebook and said, "The opposition party, which called Kim Eo-jun to the National Assembly and set the stage for the spread of fake news, will rather accuse the general public of Kakao Talk as fake news."
Mayor Oh said, "The National Security Law is freedom of expression," and those who want to abolish it will censor even private conversations of the people. It is a terrible 'double standard', he pointed out.
"In addition, the chairman of the opposition judicial committee, who will serve as a prosecutor in the impeachment trial, is calling for the death sentence of the president even before the process proceeds," he said. "The president is presumed to be guilty, and the Democratic Party leader insists on not guilty even after the first trial." The human rights of the Democratic Party of Korea are "Ajeon-take-over human rights."
"At the time of the previous administration, President Moon Jae In sued a young man in his 30s for insulting him for distributing leaflets criticizing him," Mayor Oh said. "Is the Democratic Party's DNA the anti-democratic behavior of shouting freedom of expression with a good face in the front and gagging at the back?"
"At this time, just as there is no democracy in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, there is no democracy in the Democratic Party," he said, adding, "This is why we are worried that new public security rule will become a daily routine when the Lee Jae-myung regime is born."
Earlier, Rep. Jeon Yong-ki, co-chairman of the Democratic Party's National Communication Committee, said at a press conference at the National Assembly on the 10th, "Spreading fake news through community and KakaoTalk is punished with propaganda of rebellion," adding, "I will file a complaint with incitement of rebellion or fake news even if it is simply ordinary people."
