U.S. President-elect Donald Trump has accused incompetent politicians of running wildfires in Los Angeles (LA).

Trump pointed out on his SNS on the 12th local time, "The L.A. forest fires are still raging, but incompetent politicians don't know what to do."

"Thousands of wonderful homes are burning, and many more will disappear," he said, adding, "Death is happening everywhere."

"This is one of the worst disasters in the history of the United States, and they can't put out the lights," he said sarcastically.

Trump has blamed California Gov. Gavin Newsom's wrong dimensional policies for the L.A. wildfires.

On the 8th, Trump also said on social media, "Everything is the responsibility of him (Governor Newsom). Above all, there is no water to supply fire hydrants and fire planes. It's a real disaster."

According to local media in the U.S., firefighters are struggling to contain the fire as water runs out from multiple fire hydrants in the Palisades region of Los Angeles.

The Santa Ynez reservoir, which could have been a major source of firefighting water, was also said to have been closed for repairs.

This has led to criticism of the state's preparedness, and Trump has accused Governor Newsom of failing to respond every day.

Then, Governor Newsom responded on his X (X, formerly Twitter) on the 10th local time to come to the site himself.

The L.A. wildfire, which began on the 7th, has killed at least 16 people, displaced more than 150,000 people, and destroyed more than 12,000 buildings.

Authorities are struggling to extinguish the blaze, but the flames are rarely contained and major attractions such as the Getty Museum of Art are also threatened.
