The Tas news agency said Slovak parliament co-chairs Andrei Danko (People's Party) and Tibor Gaspar (Social Democratic Party, Smer) arrived in Moscow on the same day.
The chairman of the Slovak parliament's international affairs committee, Marian Kerry, and the chairman of the defense and security committee, Richard Klutsk, were also accompanied.
Deputy Speaker Gaspar told the Tas news agency that the delegation is scheduled to meet with Russian House Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin and Senate President Valentina Matviyenko on the 13th.
The delegation will stay in Moscow until the 15th, with Russian natural gas supplies to Slovakia and the situation in Ukraine on the main agenda, Slovak news agency TASR reported.
Gaspar said in a statement that he would check whether Russia's state-owned energy company Gazprom could supply gas to Slovakia even as Ukraine stopped transporting Russian gas through gas pipelines via the country late last year.
On the 22nd of last month, before Ukraine halted gas shipments, Slovak Prime Minister Roberto Pizzo visited Moscow to discuss gas supplies and Ukraine issues with President Vladimir Putin.
Slovakia is a member of the European Union (EU) and NATO, but it is a pro-Russian country.
