Actor Lee Soon-jae (90) has become the oldest winner of the KBS Grand Prize.

Lee Soon-jae won the grand prize for the KBS 2TV drama "Dogsori" at the "2024 KBS Acting Awards," which aired on the 11th. In October last year, Lee Soon-jae, who had canceled the play he was performing for health reasons and took a break, made his first public appearance in three months.

Lee Soon-jae, who was on stage, said, "I've lived for a long time, so I've always been waiting, thinking, 'One day, the opportunity will come.' Today, I received this beautiful and precious award. He then said, "I have been working as a chair professor at Gachon University for 13 years. The drama "Dogsori," starring Lee Soon-jae, is a satirical comedy drama about a pleasant and dull old age drawn by senior citizens and Sophie, a former police dog. Lee Soon-jae played Korea's representative actor, Lee Soon-jae, in the play.

At the ceremony, Lee Soon-jae won two awards, winning the Best Couple Award with Ari, a dog actor, and Yeonwoo, a former member of the girl group "Momoland." Lee Soon-jae said, "In 'Dog Sound', there are numerous dogs, including Sophie. The dogs all did their part," he said.
