Farms in the province that breed Korean beef, beef cattle, cows, pigs, broilers, and spawning chickens can apply until the 7th of next month, and 540 farms are currently certified.
Selection is made through on-site screening along with document screening, and certified farms can receive support for improving the livestock breeding environment, such as renovating livestock and quarantine facilities, improving landscape facilities and specifications, and establishing a quarantine management system.
Shin Jong-kwang, head of the livestock policy division in Gyeonggi-do, said, "The livestock happiness farm is improving the quality of life of residents through animal welfare, eco-friendly livestock industry, and healthy livestock production."
