Hollywood stars and other cultural and artistic figures have also rolled up their sleeves amid the start of the U.S. wildfire support activities in LA.

They are volunteering themselves or raising funds to inspire people with hope.

Reporter Shin Woong-jin's report.

It is Pichon Feliz, which is considered the place where the L.A. forest fire began.

This is a screen that re-took and compared the area taken in May last year on the 10th.

I can't believe it was a place where decent buildings turned into ashes.

Hollywood stars are also actively participating as the helping hands continue for the victims.

[Common / Movie actor/singer: If you need help or want to participate in any way you want, time, food, etc., please come. These are all volunteers.]

Senior actor Michael Douglas asked for donations from the Red Cross to a charity his parents set up and promised that he would pay that much.

He also called for bipartisan action from U.S. politics, which are engaged in a political dispute over responsibility for the L.A. forest fires.

[Michael Douglas / American actor] It's not a matter of blue state or red state or Republican or Democrat. This is a humanitarian matter. And it's really a major crisis.

American youth poet Amanda Gorman has released a tribute poem for her hometown of L.A., and Paris Hilton, whose home burned down, is also joining in their own ways, including raising funds.
