Ministry of Education "AI Textbook Education Data Regulation Act, 21st Request for Re-examination"

The Ministry of Education's demand for reconsideration of the revision of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, which defines AI digital textbooks as educational materials rather than textbooks, is expected to take place at the Cabinet meeting next week.

The Ministry of Education said in a regular briefing today that the AI textbook hearing will be held at the National Assembly Education Committee on the 17th, so the proposal for reconsideration is expected to be posted to the Cabinet meeting on the 21st.

The amendment, which defines AI textbooks as educational materials, was transferred to the government on the 10th, and the deadline for exercising the veto power is the 25th.
