The child care service is a system in which caregivers visit families with children under the age of 12 to take care of their children, and the government provides differential support for the amount of service use according to the household income level.
The Ministry of Gender Equality and Family expanded the support from households with a median income of 150% or less to households with a median income of 200% or less, and increased the support rate to 30% for infants under the age of 5 and 20% for those under the age of 6 to 12.
In addition, in order to secure child care, the care allowance was raised from 11,630 won last year to 12,180 won this year.
The emergency care service, which was piloted to fill the gap in care due to school hours or urgent overtime work, also shortened the service application time to two hours before the start of care, and reduced the additional fee per case from 4,500 won to 3,000 won.
