Second round of divorce revelation...Choi Min-hwan, "Yul-hee, the cause of runaway and neglect of childcare 20 times in 5 years."

FT Island Choi Min-hwan revealed the divorce process with Yul-hee and refuted that the cause of the divorce was Yul-hee's frequent runaway and neglect of parenting.

In an interview released by Dispatch today (13th), Choi Min-hwan claimed that Yul-hee's frequent runaway and excessive sleeping habits were the main reasons for the divorce.

According to him, Yulhee ran away more than 20 times in five years, and she slept 18 to 20 hours a day. Choi Min-hwan claims that there have been frequent quarrels over this issue and that he has even used abusive language in front of his mother-in-law.

Regarding Choi Min-hwan's entry into the business, which Yul-hee revealed, he explained that the business was a karaoke that hosted Yul-hee's birthday party and not a prostitution business. At the time of the divorce agreement, the issue of entering the business was not mentioned.In contrast to Yul-hee's claim that she was treated unfairly by her parents-in-law, Choi Min-hwan refuted that her parents had devoted themselves to helping her. In response to Yul-hee's request for a split of 1 billion won in assets, Choi Min-hwan said that no money was invested in Yul-hee's wealth formation. Rather, he claimed that Choi Min-hwan paid Yul-hee's penalty, taxes, and living expenses instead.

Choi Min-hwan also told Dispatch about custody. Unlike Yul-hee's claim that she is the main caregiver, Choi Min-hwan refuted that he was not negligent in raising children and that Yul-hee only met her children 15 times in the past year and three months.

Choi Min-hwan and Yul-hee married in 2017 and had one son and two daughters, but they divorced on December 8, 2023.
