Police Commissioner Jo Ji-ho, who was arrested and charged for the emergency martial law incident, filed bail with the Seoul Central District Court today (13th).The head of the National Police Agency

is accused of using a police task force to block the outskirts of the National Assembly under the direction of President Yoon Suk Yeol at the time of the emergency martial law, participating in forming an arrest group for major politicians, and attempting to take out the Central Election Commission server.

Last month, the National Police Agency Commissioner Cho also applied to the prosecution to suspend the execution of his arrest, citing worsening blood cancer, but it was not accepted.

The Seoul Central District Court will hold the first trial preparation date for Cho and Kim Bong-sik, former head of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, at 10 a.m. on the 6th of next month.
