"I regret it because I think it was the wrong choice, and it also bothered me. Looking back, I'm the choice I made at that time, and I've come all the way here because of the pain. I'm sure there are young people who think like this. I wanted to tell them. There is no wrong path in the world."

Singer Minseo explained the lyrics of the new song "Another Way," which was released on the 8th. He, who participated in writing the lyrics himself, also said that it was his story that turned 30.

In particular, it drew attention that it was a long-standing idea about appearing in "Superstar K7," which led him to his debut in the music industry. It was not easy for the 20-year-old Minseo to face malicious comments, appearance reviews, and negative public opinion that crossed the line when he appeared on "Superstar K7." He said, "I regret that it would have been less difficult if I hadn't appeared. I was scared to be in the spotlight. It was too much to bear," he confessed.

But now I have completely changed my mind. "I was able to start my singing career because of that, so I'm grateful now," he said. "There is no moment when I want to go back to the past. Nothing I want to change from my past. Even he was a learning, an experience," he added.

This mature thought came to me when I was around age 30. Minseo, who was born in 1996, turned 30 this year using the traditional age calculation method. He said, "In my early 20s, there were many days when I stayed up all night feeling anxious and worried. But these days, I feel like I'm in a stable phase as I feel fun and grateful for the little things," he said.

This realization that there is not a completely wrong choice, although it is a little lacking, also started the "Nighty Project." He said, "I'm not good enough, so I think I gained experience thanks to my desire to do more. The lack of things made me who I am, he explained the "Nighty Project" by saying, "It means that 90% of humans will go toward the ideal."

Above all, the change to Minseo's band music project, which became famous as a ballad, is noteworthy. Min Seo-ji, who hit the music charts with the emotion of separation, performed refreshing youth music as a vocalist for the Nineties project. He said, "I had a desire for band music from an early age. When I moved my agency this time, I wanted to challenge music that I had never done before," he said, explaining why he chose band music.

For this project, Minseo's longtime colleagues, including singer-songwriter and producer Kang Butter, who worked with IU, NCT DOYOUNG and Lucy, and A&R manager Lee Jae-joon, joined together. As the project was created through honest conversations between people with similar musical tastes, determination, and values of life, Minseo seemed to be more satisfied and willing to work. "It feels like I've pulled out a new knife," he said, glistening his eyes.

These two are Minseo's goals for 2025: frequent new song releases and 2,000-seat performances under the name of the Nineties project. "I made it to show the music I really wanted to do, so I'll show it often this year," he said.
