The People's Power held a general meeting of lawmakers to discuss whether to propose its own "Extraordinary Special Counsel Act" as a party theory, but failed to reach a conclusion.

Floor leader Kwon Sung-dong met with reporters after the parliamentary assembly and said the leadership has been delegated the authority to decide due to disagreements within the party over whether to issue its own independent counsel law, and will announce its position tomorrow afternoon (14th).

He then explained that the pros and cons were tense, adding that he would listen to the opinions of lawmakers and the leadership, including Kwon Young-se, chairman of the emergency committee, and make a comprehensive and political decision.

The Democratic Party of Korea proposed the 2nd Civil War Special Investigation Act, which added "foreign exchange crimes," and passed the plenary session of the National Assembly Judiciary Committee, which is opposed by the people's power.
