Last year, China's annual exports rose 7.1% to an all-time high.

Some say it is the last high point ahead of the "tariff war" expected after the launch of the second Trump term in the U.S.

Last year, China's annual exports exceeded 5,000 trillion won.

This is an all-time high, up 7.1% year-on-year.

Imports rose 2.3 percent to 3,600 trillion won.

The trade surplus is more than 1,400 trillion won.

[Luda Liang / Spokesperson for China Customs Service: China's exports exceeded 25 trillion yuan for the first time. It has maintained its growth for eight consecutive years, showing strong energy and vitality.]

Bloomberg News in the U.S. analyzed that this is because Chinese companies are pushing out inventory.

It also added that it could be the "last high" ahead of the launch of Trump's second term.

It is a sparkling effect of ordering goods before a tariff barrier of more than 60% is built on Chinese goods.

[Donald Trump / U.S. President-elect (November last year): If China or any other country does something bad, we will impose something very serious: tariffs.]

The Chinese authorities also held their first national business meeting in the new year to discuss ways to diversify exports.

They also put their heads together on attracting foreign direct investment (FDI), which fell by nearly 30 percent last year alone.

However, many predict that these external variables will become more unpredictable after Trump's inauguration.

This is why the authorities are making every effort to recover domestic demand among exports, investment, and domestic demand, which are considered the trichomes of the Chinese economy.
