Last month, the U.S. non-agricultural employment indicators were hot, and the New York Stock Exchange's three major stock indexes ended mixed.

By the close of the day on the New York Stock Exchange, the Dow Jones 30 Industrial Average closed at 42,296.93, up 358.48 points or 0.85% from the previous session. The

Standard & Poor's 500 index closed at 19,088.1, up 9.20 points, or 0.16% from the previous session, at 5,836.24 and the Nasdaq Composite index closed at 19,088.1, down 73.53 points and 0.38% from the previous session.

The three major stock indexes started lower, but low-priced buying defended the stock.

Economists believe that if the consumer price index last month, which will be announced on the 15th, suggests rising inflation, the stock market could slump further this week as the possibility of a rate cut within this year decreases.
