A series of car crashes on Munsan Expressway in Seoul

A series of crashes occurred in the direction of Paju on the Seoul Munsan Expressway, causing severe congestion on the way to work.

At around 5:50 a.m. today (14th), 43 cars collided in a series near the Tollgate of the Goyang Nam Junction in Seongsa-dong, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do.A total of 13 people have been injured, including one seriously injured in the

accident so far.

Also, at around 6:40 a.m., 18 vehicles collided near Heungdo IC on the same road.

Two people were injured and taken to the hospital, but their lives are not in danger.

Police and fire authorities suspect the road was frozen due to snow overnight, causing cars to slip and cause an accident.
